Big News from the DMOA!
The Des Moines Officials Association is pleased to announce two new collaborative partnerships to enhance member benefits.
For years, your DMOA Board of Directors has worked hard to drive value into your annual membership. Our in-season clinics have seen participation increase and our Summer/Fall Camps for basketball and football have sold out. As our Annual Membership Renewal approaches (April 1), and our Annual Spring Banquet (May 19) is also near, we anticipate increased demand for content-rich education and training opportunities.
Effective with our April 1 membership renewal and new member recruitment cycle, your DMOA membership will include two nationally-recognized training content provider memberships.
First, for basketball officials, we have partnered with IAABO, the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials, for a strong package of written materials, training videos, quizzes and in-season, “You Make The Call” high school plays with commentary, accessed through your personal log-in to RefQuest Plus. Your personal membership kit will include many helpful training aids, including the latest IAABO Training Manual (combination NFHS Rule Book and Mechanics Manual), pregame sheet and floor diagram. For DMOA football members, your renewal membership will include a personalized subscription to MIBT Online, a nationally-recognized officials training organization led by Tim Kiefer, former NCAA D-1 football official, along with contributions and commentary from the famous football official and instructor, Bill LeMonnier, among others. Your subscription to MIBT Online includes both weekly on-line presentations and a complete library of training videos on various aspects of the high school game. Unable to attend the weekly on-line meetings? No problem, as all weekly MIBT meetings are recorded for access and playback at your convenience.

** MIBT Membership included: MIBT is primarily a training resource for football officials, but also includes growing content for basketball, baseball and softball, all included. You’ll register separately on their site using a specific promo code which aligns you with DMOA, your fee will be paid through DMOA. Membership provides access to all of their content, year round. NOTE: You do NOT need to register yet directly with IAABO, once you register with DMOA we will pass along your information and email address to IAABO to be entered into their systems as a member. They may ask you to register and setup a password for access to their members-only content.
